The Optimist Club of London - Oakridge Acres was chartered in 1957 and is one of eight Optimist Clubs in the city of London. Each club operates independently, but meet often to share information and partner in programs that benefit youth in London. Our club has been a vital part of the Oakridge and London community, providing activities for youth and providing financial support for a wide variety of sport, education, health and safety programs. We have a proven track record in our community and an active membership of over 50 members who have a common desire to improve the lives of youth in our community. Youth is the priority of the Optimist Club of London – Oakridge Acres. We initiate and are involved in a variety of programs that benefit youth in our community. Together with member initiatives and community involvement and support, we deliver programs that benefit youth. We have initiatives of varying size and scope. In addition, we meet regularly with our membership for comradery, socializing, and organizing and supporting these initiatives. Our wide range of programs are deeply satisfying to us and the community at large.

Everyone is welcome to become involved. We are always looking for men and women who can help us make a difference by joining our club as we continue to serve youth in our community.
