Meeting Room Calendar, Booking Instructions and Keyholder Contact Information
The Optimist Club of Oakridge Acres is responsible for a small meeting room at the Oakridge Arena. Aside from a meeting place for the Club and its committees, this meeting space can be made available to groups that promote activities in line with Optimist values. If you are interested in booking the space, please follow the instructions outlined below.
The club also owns equipment that is often used by our BBQ team, Soccer Committee, Baseball committee and other ad hoc Optimist committees for special events. These items include refrigerators, freezers, tables, tents and ice coolers.
We record all Optimist events and requests on our calendar. Please request a reservation for the meeting room, field house or for the use of any of the equipment through this site to avoid disappointment through competing requirements. First, please have a look at the online meeting calendar to see if the room or equipment is already booked. Because we strive for a 24hr turnaround time on new booking requests, there is a very small possibility that a new request has not shown up yet. Otherwise, the calendar is accurate and a member of the Club will confirm your request.
Once you have confirmed that the time requested is free, please send the following details to calendar@oakridgeoptimists.ca

Once your booking is confirmed, you will have to make arrangements for access to the room if you do not already have a key. Please contact the most relevant individual below for access. If they are not available, you are welcome to try another person from the list.
